The circle gets larger - same amount of paint, - measure the area. Pi radius squared. So as the volume is the same but the circle is larger we can work out the ration of the areas as the distance doubles. #iteachphysics

Something I haven't done for a while - Microbiology with my A level Biology students. All the equipment has now arrived, so we can soon start sterilising ( the autoclave was too big for the photos) making up broth and agar plates, practising aseptic technique and starting to grow some E Coli then we can test them with Mint and Garlic to see if they like the food as much as I do! #microbiology #teaching #teachingkids
