GCSE Physics Tuition: We are looking at Terminal velocity using glycerol as a medium. Using the @pascoscientific rotary motion sensor and capstone, we could easily see how the weight accelerated and then slowed to a terminal velocity. The cord has no measurable effect.

 A-Level Biology Tuition: The Fluid Mosaic Model. Starting with washing up bubbles to complex structures held in a double membrane with unique proteins that fit inside and can allow certain molecules to pass through under control.

Sampling Methods

 A-Level Sociology Tuition: Choosing the Sampling Frame - getting a truly representative sample is essential if the data captured is to be believed. Trying experiments on representative and non-representative populations and observing the results.

Barcode Scanning

 GCSE Computing Tuition: We are learning how to read barcodes and about error correction when using a USB Barcode scanner and then putting this into a Python program. Learning real-world skills and finding links between Math and Computing.

SOLVATION

 A-Level Chemistry Tuition: Investigating how ionic substances dissolve in a polar liquid like water and how the ions can then conduct electricity. Introducing the students to programmes like Chemsketch and Chemix.
