Fun with Transformers

Dissolving Lead Iodide in Hot water


 A fun reaction is to mix Potassium Iodide with Lead Nitrate. More fun =is to then heat the solution to drive the reaction backwards and then let the Golden Rain form. It takes a long time to do and so I often prepare another one ahead of time

GCSE to A-Level Maths


 Upgrading your Maths - going from GCSE to A-Level is quite a jump and this course makes it much easier. Students learn much harder GCSE problems and how to solve them, which makes the A-level start so much easier.

More Pendulums


 Learning all about Pendulums, how changing the swing or changing the mass has no effect on the swing but changing the length of the string does at hemel private tuition.

 Students often get the idea that physics is made from the Rules rather than rules to begin created to fit the facts. Here using a @pascoscientific smart cart on a track with Capstone they can write the scientific equations from scratch.

Microscopes - high or low power


Which is best, high or low power microscopes. Both are great, but for students starting out and wanting a home microscope, I suggest that a low-power microscope is far better value and will be used more than the high microscope, which often needs specially prepared slides to view.
