Microprocessor lab
Got out the ancient but still working HP microprocessor lab to show and teach the students. Some hand assembly made the programming interesting. Wonderful bit of kit and still being used for computing 40 years on. #vintagecomputing

Separating Oil and Vinegar
Who knew separating oil from vinegar would be so tough for students? I demonstrated how one layer sits atop the other, but they insisted on filtering, distilling, and even freezing it! None of them suggested using a separating funnel. #ChemistryStruggles #LabFails

Youngs Double Slit Experiment
We looked at Young's Double Slit Experiment. None of the students knew about it, so we made predictions about what would be seen and then had to come up with explanations of what happened. We got some interesting ideas not necessarily based on Physics.

Protractor Advantage
A 360-degree protractor allows for greater flexibility and accuracy in measuring and drawing angles, as it covers the full range of angles from 0 to 360 degrees. A 180-degree protractor is limited to measuring only half of this range, which can be a disadvantage when working with more complex angles. #MathTools #Geometry #Trigonometry

Infected cells game
Playing the infected cells simulation where cells with a counter are infected and those without aren't. As vaccines take effect, infection numbers plummet. Try running the simulation in different ways to see varying effects! #infectedcells #simulation #vaccines
