Resonance with Tuning Forks
Two identical tuning forks, one resonance box and a ping pong ball to show how the second tuning fork picks up the sound from the first. #iteachphysics Having fun with physics doing some practice before the lessons.

Refraction
A level/GCSE #Physics Refraction an alternative way- works well on a visualiser #iteachphysics @ChatPhysics Good as an intro along with the glass of water and the arrow changing direction. This introduces refraction of different liquids.

More Resistivity
Using the @pascoscientific from @SciChemEdu wireless motion sensor for distance and the voltage/current sensor for the resistance and plotting the resistance against distance for A level #physics prep #iteachphysics Got to see if the experiment works.

Inverse Square Law
A level #Physics An easy way to understand the inverse square law. Get a spray can 10cm away spray for 1 sec, move 20cm away spray 1 sec and repeat at 40 and 80cm. The circle gets larger - same amount of paint, - measure the area. Pi radius squared. So as the volume is the same but the circle is larger we can work out the ration of the areas as the distance doubles. #iteachphysics
